• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Parts back from artist

Just got my parts back from the artist (art by Weeze) for my POW/MIA themed Spyder and I LOVE it!! Sheila (Weeze) did a fantastic job...just what I wanted...very simplistic. Just POW/MIA logos and strands of barbed wire on hood, fenders, and saddle bags. Wanted to do justice to the cause without junking it up.

I have to take my Spyder in to have my cruise control and HID lights re-installed after my Trip From Hell last month. Will install the parts next week and post pics!!

If you had really read my thread, I said I would post pics next week when I get my Spyder back from service.

Because you are so impatient, here are a couple that obviously are not installed. When I get everything installed, I'll put the pics in a larger format and provide the link

Geez....you'd think you were Irish!! :roflblack:

That's really sharp! Thanks for caring, and for sharing truly classy artwork. I would have been willing to wait...

Very nice. Saw a POW bike at the OCC Showroom that had the names of all the known POWs. Nice touch.

I saw one like that too but I thought it was too "busy". I wanted to honor the POW/MIAs but do it in a very simplistic way. I have a number of friends that are repatriated Vietnam POWS and I spent 9 months debriefing LCDR Phil Butler who was one of the earliest POWs. Phil got out of the Navy and is now a psychologist in Monterey CA.
