• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

parts are on the bike and look great a few gromets i found missing and have ordered

Looks to me like someone may very well have built a better mouse trap. That to me is an exellent example of what innovation can do. Job well done and I do hope that it solves your problems.

I was thinking before this but just came up with an idea. It all looks good to me except the inside of the vent. I was going to make a suggestion before to paint it flat black and it just donned on me...duh.... Plastidip would look great behind the screen and be removable it you did not like it. Too bad it is not 90 deg so we can get a report on the effects. I also wonder the difference between those and the adjustable BRP vents. How much $$ do you have in the uppers? I hope you are not paying for the grommets I would be blaming BRP/dealer for them missing.

after i put them on i said the same thing. so i have the whole winter to take them off and paint the inside black

Cuzn, AWE-Freakin'-SOME!! :2thumbs: :firstplace:
If it works ten percent as good as it looks; it's a winner!:ohyea::yes:

Plastidip can peel off if you change you mind and it is some cool stuff. My Terrain has chrome mirrors and at certain times the sun's reflection blinds me so I taped it off a shot the offending area with some. Problem solved and it looks great. The finish is flat too.

Wow..!!

awesome...now that you installed them you really can't see a difference. This is going to work I have no doubt. All the hard work and investment has paid off handsomely..congrats....:2thumbs:

b4

like i said b4 it needs a lil tweaking because grommets were missing from when they did the heat fix. so i didn't put them on with all the screws because i need to replace the missing grommets and they were ordered today. so when they get here i will take it apart to replace the grommets and do the black paint on the inside of the vents. i am very happy with the way it looks now i just hope it helps a lil.

It will how much :dontknow: We will be needing some temp readings when it warms up. Maybe BRP should be sending us some :roflblack: Once again how much $$ for the uppers? Yellow (like white) is one of the easiest to match paint wise even a little off tint doesn't show much.

I would hold off on the FB's they are a little busy (fugly?) I think you have done enough to at least measure the vents. When you doo to much at once you do not know what really helped. I thought I saw your post about pre painted ones how much did they charge extra for that option?

the floor boards are not till the end of next year but jene at vertika trikes said if he could get the paint from ppg he would charge 400 to paint them. but ppg could not match the paint because it is a 3 stage paint. base coat, paint and than clear coat. even the small touch up paint i bought from touch up direct came in 3 small bottles

Here are the codes for 2013 any reputable shop( even a Chevy dealer GM uses PPG) should be able to paint them I think you got BS. Corvettes are sheet molded composite most car bumpers are same as the Tupperware. All GM cars are the same process it is the industry standard now.

the ppg code for my yellow was not the right color because i gave the painter this chart that is why he used the paint i bought from touch up direct

My dealer has a paint machine that can look at the color and match it. I have used it to match colors on my Corvette. Their were 5 different shades used on it in the model year or they can use it to get a custom color. I know it sounds weird to take it to a Chevy dealer but mine has an awesome paint shop, independents not so much. Best part was they were cheaper than the independents and gave a lifetime warranty ( which unfortunately I used. One headlight cover tint did not match to my liking but they made it right.
