• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Parking Brake Lever

When parked, I have had difficulty getting my heel on the parking brake lever---it's so hidden and hard to reach. So I took some steel plate 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick----bent it into a "Z" shape, extending the brake lever up by 6 inches. Now I have no problem with it.

I very interested as I have the same problem. Can you post pics? Thanks, Spyderwoman3

I am looking at extending the parking brake pedal for exactly the same reason. If you have a pic to share that would be great. I'll post whatever I end up doing.

If you just want to extend the parking brake out and not up, you might want to try this mod

My husband and I did this to our Spyders yesterday and so far I really like it.

Thanks a ton SpyderCrazy. The end result is exactly what I want. I might try something in Stainless Steel but I like the approach and it will get me well on my way. Once it is done I'll post a pic.
Many Thanks for the link and your review of how well it worked for you.
