Parking brake fault returns after fixed & clearing code? Ideas??

So I had the cable detach from the pulley for the parking brake yesterday. Fixed it. But when I started the bike, after fixing the parking brake, the “parking brake fault” orange screen came on. Took it to a friend who has a BUDS system to clear it. He cleared it. When I went to restart the Spyder again, the parking brake fault came back on for some reason. I have a 2011 Spyder RT limited. What could be causing that light/sensor to stay on after fixing the issue and having it cleared, and what can be done about it?

Did you re-adjust the parking brake, per the manual?

Maybe you only think you fixed it. Maybe look deeper. jmho

I didn’t realize the manual tells how to readjust it, and I didn’t know I had to. I will try that. Thank you.
