• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Parking Brake failure!!!

Jersey Girl

New member
Rode home from work like always around 12am. Got into the driveway and "bam" parking brake failure. I could not get the alarm to stop and hubby had to come and try to figure out the issue. I just had a beautiful week at Americade and put on 1800+ miles with no issues. Even purchased a Corbin seat and backrest. I had a blast and the bike handled awesome. Now hubby has looked at things and brake pads are low. I only have 7000 mi. in almost 10 months. Can't get past the parking brake failure warning. Is there any other issues I should be looking at? We are going to the dealer tomorrow for new pads and oil change stuff. I still have the idiot parking brake failure light and haven't had it on the road since. Any advice? I'm welcome to any and all suggestions.:helpsmilie:

This is very easy on how to adjust it properly. Not sure if yours is beyond this BUT it never hurts to know the above!

Thanks all. It was the cable after all. While we had it apart we did a rear brake job and oil change. Runs like new.:2excited:
