• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Paring new phone

Just purchased a new phone, same brand, and everything was transferred from the old phone to the new phone even the BRP connect app. Do I have to pair the new phone even if the old one with BRP connect was paired? I’m guessing the answer is yes because you are pairing the phone and not the BRP connect app. but thought I would check.

Yes you need to pair the new phone. I would unpair the old phone first if not using it anymore.

I would think so otherwise it would get confused and try to connect both phones and music.. When I had my phone paired to the bike and my Sena communicator headset it didn't work right. Music kept swiitching from bike speakers to headset and back. Phone calls didnt work right either.

You need to remove the old pairing from the bike. You don't need the phone. When you go into the pairing of the phone you'll see the old phone and you select it and get a choice to remove it. Then you can set up the new phone.
