• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Greetings, folks. I'm still waiting for my Spyder but I've already begun planning the changes I'm going to make. The paint is the first thing to go as I'm not fond of either of the currently available color choices. Before I commission someone to paint it for me, I have a few questions...

How has the current finish held up on the current trikes? Are you experiencing a lot of chips and scratches? I am aware of the exhaust paint issues. I just don't want to dump a fistful of bills on a repaint if the plastic is chip-happy.

Finally, where should I look for painters? It's really nothing like painting a chromed-out chopper so I'm assuming I don't need someone who specializes in motorcycles. I see some of you went the decal route and they look great but are they holding up? Which material works best (vinyl, reflective tape, etc)?

Thanks a ton!

I just finished the day with 1870 miles. no problems with the paint. no chiped plastic. all i do is wipe it down with that kawaski wipe down. used in on my seadoo keeps everything looking shiny.

More details, please. Never heard of it, but sounds interesting.

go to a kawaski dealer or a seadoo dealer. its called "wipe down" they use it in the showroom to keep the bikes and seadoo's shiny. get rid of fingerprints and most road bugs ect. i think its about 8 a spray can.

5500 miles and I have a couple of chips on the front but that can be expected with any paint job. ::)

Just about to turn 2000 miles and no problems at all with the paint. I keep it polished and it is holding up just great.
