• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

painting the fenders?

I'm going to get custom paint on the fenders and hood of my spyder. For those of you with the F3-S who've gotten your fenders painted -- did you just remove the reflectors or can you/did you remove that top plastic part or, how did you work that? Thanks in advance for any input/advice.

Remove the fenders and hood and have them paint the parts, then reinstall.

that's what I'm going to do -- but I was wondering about those "raised" plastic parts on the fenders. Are those removable or should I plan on having them painted too?

They are removable and the choice to paint those to match is up to you. Some also paint the black rear splash guard on the back of the fender. (I did not).
