• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In tis pic, you can see what I am considering for painting in red. I am not sure what these pieces are called, or what it takes to remove them for painting. Any thoughts?

Are you sure..??

A quick upload to a paint program and you can paint them and see if you like them. If still in doubt go for the plastidip paint leaving you the option to remove it. Did that and glad I did....

Plastic Paint

I painted the nose of my '14 all black over a year ago and it has held up well, however, it did not hold up on the side panels where my foot often rubbed it getting on/off. It does peel off easily tho. Point is, it will work well on your scoops but down
near the foot pedal it won't.

The silver around the light is the easy part, remove the panel from the Spyder and a couple of screws undone and it comes apart from the panel, this also removes the black shroud around the headlight. The other part I just masked it on the Spyder as removing it is beyond my ability. Plasti-Dip is a great way to go to see if you like it.

Look at this

If you look at the F3 section of Can Am's Parts section, you can see exploded diagrams of the F3 and get an idea of what is holding the parts on.

Here is the link to the parts section: http://parts.spyder.brp.com/Index.a...d7rn2qi75&catalog_id=0&language_id=1&siteid=1

The diagrams look like the one I attached.

I think you are looking at ( what they call ) part

205
705010343
RH Hyper Silver Air Duct. Model Pure Magnesium

Hope this helps.
