Painted top case and mirror back covers

Having a dark addition Spyder my mirror back covers are black. I see on the chrome addition those parts are color matched. I really like that look and saw I could order them from BRP color matched for $170 plus shipping for the pair. I instead went to a local body shop that said they could paint mine and would also do the black top case cover for about the same price it would cost me for just order the mirror covers alone from BRP. They took a painted piece and scanned it to get the exact color. I really like how it turned out. A one color top case it much nicer to me and I love the mirrors cover as well. Here are some pics on how it turned out.

Exact match. Better clear coat then the factory I can tell that. He asked me to bring it in next week and he will polish the entire Spyder and coat it with ceramic as part of the price.

Looks Great! Plan on doing exact thing to my Top Cover on our 2020RTL, I believe there is little if any clear coat on the original paint job! "Hate the Black Top Cover"

That looks amazing, I am new to the whole Spyder thing and I have a 2021 Asphalt Gray on order. I too could not understand why they wouldn't paint the top cover the same color, am not a fan of the black top color. Again, great looking paint job!!

Love it! I will take my Spyder and RT622 trailer to my body shop and have it all painted at the same time. I think I will have them buff and clear coat the rest of the painted parts at the same time.
