• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My father bought my first motorcycle for my 12th birthday. 49 years later, I spent part of my inheritance to purchase my RT-S for my 61st birthday. Free and clear. So in essence, my father also bought my last motorcycle.

Don't be so quick to say it's your last motorcycle. You never know.

:congrats: It is a good feeling to have those toys paid for. The dilemma is that every time you drive by another toy store, you think about how much of a trade in down payment you have on the next toy. :roflblack:

My Mom bought my '14 RTL. I'm sure she was looking down with words to say. That was going to be my last motorcycle. Low and behold, I have a '17 TriGlide taking the place of the RTL. My advisor said he was sure that Mom would want to continue contributing to the delinquency of her younger son. I'm sure she has said many more words.
That being said, few things feel better than having a major purchase paid for.

Still with you...

That's a great story and your Dad is still "riding" with you, so to speak
