• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I got the bike back from the dealer today[5k svc] went for about a 50 mile ride and stopped for gas.
the check engine light came on but it didn't go in into limp mode about a mi. from the house.
Will riding it tomorrow send it into limp mode?

Howdy, Tuck here. P1030 has to do with upstream oxygen sensor or a multitude of follow-on things.
Might want to stay within towing distance with that one. I've been fighting p0174 for months, or really the warning light, orange eng light and no code. Basically the code refers to "left eng bank lean" and then on to phase of the moon and many other things, including ox sensors because they are there.
Stay semi close and get it to your dealer soon as you can. OX sensor was the only thing that ever got my 1800 Gold Wing towed - hint, hint.

it's not the first time a dealer has sent a Spyder home in worse condition than they received it.:dontknow:

My problem with P0174 went away forever after doing a canisterectomy.

The dealer forgot to plug wires back into the sensor. It doesn't show up on the self test, so after about 30 miles and stop for gas. [check engine].
Trip to the dealer to drop it off.
Another trip to the dealer to pick it up.
They did say they were sorry.
I just hope we're all good for a 6 state trip in 2 weeks.
