Well yesterday I put about 150 miles on my Spyder. In the middle of the day. The temp. was around 95* in south Florida. all this time I noticed my temp gauge was reading 5 to 6 bars. at sunset Went to meet some other bikes. This time I noticed that I again had 5 bars. when I gassed up and drove 500ft. In front of all my friends. My spyder just died. I keep blowing a fuse. The fuse was in the rear fuse block, the 40 amp main. I pulled all 3 fuse's in the front. The three that look alike. Replaced the rear 40amp fuse. Then one by one I installed the 3 main fuse. This way I could lemmate and find the bad fuse. Now the bike has cooled down. Only thing I could think is the fan on the radiator over heated and caused the fuse to blow. I think, Before I bring it to the shop, I'll install a temperature gauge and see what my temp really is. maybe add some water wetter to the rad. :chat:
