• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Out of the shadows...a new ryder emerges.

Well, I've been a shadow-lurker for a while...then a curious admirer of those 3-wheeled chariots you all ryde...then fate required me to have a more stable riding platform for me and my lady...and now, I'm out of the shadows and a proud Spyder RTS/SM6 owner!

We had to have the black RTS because it's the fastest ;) ...and although the Limited was beautiful, the thought of having to shine chrome is something I hope to never have to do again (my Victory Cross Country was loaded with chrome)..because it cuts into my ryding time! So, with ryding as the goal, the RTS/SM6 hit the sweet spot for us.

I wanted to thank all of you, from all of us 'lurkers', for all the great information and entertainment found on this site. Reading the posts on this site gave me great insight into the issues associated with Spyders, set expectations on how the ride would feel (yes, I'm still reaching for the right brake handle & leaning into turns is still something I must think about versus feeling natural like counter-steering on a two wheeler), and all the other aspects to Spyder ownership. You all made this plunge into the 'light of 3-wheeling' a little easier to make...during a time when making a decision like this was anything but easy.

I will miss my Metal Monster (the Victory), but this Steel Chariot :spyder2: is already bringing much needed 'smile-age' to my face :D and we look forward to many years of touring and ryding pleasure on our new Spyder!

We hope to see & meet all of you the road...out of the shadows of indoor boredom...enjoying life out in the sun on our Steel Chariot...

Welcome..!! Welcome..!!

to both the spyder world and actively getting into this site. Congrats on your new ryde..!! :2thumbs: you both will enjoy this no end...

Posting a pic this afternoon....

I apologize for not having a pic ready when I posted my intro...on the way home tonight I'll shoot a pic somewhere away from the throngs of people that keep coming up to ask questions wherever I stop!

I had a tough time making it into the office from the parking lot...had to run away when the van pool parked and all the passengers were pointing and started headed my way! :yikes:

WELCOME!
