• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got in trouble the other day with the wife, cuz I was obsessing on the new spyder maybe a bit too much...not that anybody else here has done that right?welcome
So, after volunteering to take the kids to school, take her out to dinner, flowers a card even, well, I'm out of the dog house and have the right to feel guilt free to add more mods to the spyder...yea!

Put on the backrest and kewlmetal passenger pegs, spyder vinyl graphics and NMN neon lights. Did the 8 pack led's and came out pretty sweet

More mods to come :-)

:2thumbs: Looks sweet!!!! Do you plan to run with them on at night or are they just for show ? Did you install a switch or do they come on wih the lights.?

Thanks!
NMN sends the 8 light kits with 2 remotes, so they are controlled on/off/light pattern, etc by the buttons on the remote. We can't legally have these operating while driving, but any other parked location is fine and yes, I will probably run them anytime I go out and park :spyder: for a few hours or so at night.
I found it hard to take good night videos of these lights, since the camera can't catch the lighting like our naked eyes can, but they really look very sweet and draw a lot of attention.

One of my favorite mods so far.

Thanks,
I put one directly attached to the panel under the seat, (ran the actual wire inside that panel) and one on the inside on the bracket that goes between the exhaust and the tire. See pics.
Since the rear tire area is so prominent on these bikes, it seemed like the best location to get lots of extra light, so I put 2 in that region.

Why the flowers, card and dinner?????
My girl is just the opposite, she loves all the Spyder stuff and is happy that I love it so much. Then again, she doesn't believe in the hallmark holiday either.
Looks great !

LOL, well if you saw my wifes tiny hot...well, better not go there, but it sure keeps me in check :-)
