• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Our little Sylvie Bee, is no more

We said goodbye to our White Bull Terrier, CH Corsaire Flying Cloud, TT this afternoon. Pulmonary Fibrosis reached a tipping point. And her breathing deteriorated rapidly over a few days. Sylvie was a feisty little character. She put up with Bugsy, her son, for about a year and a half. Then, one day, decided she'd had enough of him. She thought he might be better off dead. That was our Miss Bee. She was all about her personal space. Stay out of her face and she was fine. Crowd her, and she'd have something to say. Bugsy is and was such a good natured lug that he never did quite get the message. We just separated them.

Sylvie was feisty to the end. She barked at the Vet to get it in gear and get the show on the road. My term of endearment for her was "Little Horror". And she was, a horrible bee.

The house is going to be very empty without her. My husband Ron and I and Bugsy are going to miss her terribly. I hope the other bullies sing her way over the bridge. She would love that, being the princess she was.

Sleep tight little bee. God watch over you.

So sorry to hear that. It is not easy to say goodbye to a member of the family. And our pets are family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. The difference in lifespans from us and our furry little friends is what makes it even harder. This is always the worst part about having dogs, they are family.

You and your family are in our prayers. Take care and remember Sylvie is in a better place now.

sorry for your loss I know how you feel, lost our teacup poodle 3 years ago and still miss him

Hard stuff. It seems to be as hard to heal from the loss of a pet as any other loved one. We understand your pain, and Nancy and I extend our sympathy.

Pets are special to us, and the loss is real. So sorry you're going through this now, but the memories and laughter she brought to you will remain.

It hurts, but the Lifetime of Memories make it worth it

I am sorry for your loss. I had chills as i read your post. Its inevitable I know, but I cant imagine when that day will come for Teddy & I. As I'm sure you have many Great Memories with Sylvie Bee, take comfort in knowing that she no longer is in distress, and that you shared more than just your home with her, you shared your hearts & that will last for the rest of your lives.

Teddy & I will say a  for you tonight when we go to bed. Know you are not alone in your loss. It is shared by those of us in the SpyderLovers community that care as well:bowdown:

Sorry for your loss -- I lost my Great Dane in October and the house is not the same. Still get choked up when I think about him.

Ron and I are most grateful for all of your prayers and sympathy. This is going to be one heck of a change for us. As it is, this is "morning time". The time Sylvie used to be out in the main house with Ron and me. Bugsy used to take a nap in his crate so Sylvie would have her time with us.

Now, here Bugsy is, sleeping in the "blankies" on the couch with us. It's so strange not to have Miss Bee standing on the armrest of the couch staring down at me wondering when I was going to start the regular "worship" of petting and stroking her.

I hope and pray that she is truly safe now from all troubles. My little bee. We've had the "bee and the bug". Now just Bugsy. We are beyond sad. :(

I know the feeling. we lost our bull terrier, Beau, a few years ago. A real character, and he feared no dog. He dragged me around the living room by my thumb once. I loved that dog, but I'll never own another one.
