• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Our little Sylvie Bee, is no more

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I love my dog so much and will be totally depressed when he leaves us. He's a major fixture of my family and my two year old adores him...it's so cute to see them play together (well, she chases him around, but he's good about it)

It's great that you have another dog...I always thought two were better than one, especially when one passes away. I'm sure Bugsy is saddened by the loss and your bonding with him will be good for both of you.

Our deepest sympathies. It tore our hearts when we lost our dog Maxx. It will be the same when we loose our four kitties. Our prayers are with you.

I get tears in my eyes everytime I read this--and think about the friends who have gone before. Tiggers, Pookie, Scotty, Cocoa, & Foxy.

The Rainbow Bridge
inspired by a Norse legend

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever, And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.
