Mondays journey has gone well today. From the Texas / New Mexico border HWY 10 to just over the border into the California. Several pictures taken along the way, and some really good ones of the Arizona Grand Daddy Cactus.
In just a few days after buying my Spyder I started observing that dreaded front wheel alignment issures developing into severe inside shoulder tire wear (mostly on the right side). It was not so bad from Utah to Texas, but after inflating the tires to a recomended pressure. The wear really became serious during monday's long ride. Today again concerned of the serious problem of front tire wear, I decided to do something about it.
Grabbing a crescent wrench and finding a curb to park on, I took the wrench to my sterring tie rod and gave it a full turn longer to toe in the right tire. WOW the rest of the day's ride is much easier to control the Spyder.. it was like adding power sterring.. now I hope the tires will not wear so badly. Now to watch the wear pattern for the next few thousand miles. I know it's still not aligned correctly, BUT what is better, leting the tire wear off or shoot from the hip and try to correct the problem the best you can with what you have in hand??
Tuesday's another day!! Stay Tuned!

Thanks everyone for all your information and well wishes. this has been a wonderful experience for me not to mention all the memories... I will check into Warrenty issues and service updates next week.. I Hope...
I started riding my Spyder with 2,242? miles, it now has 5,900 and counting.
I want to share a few pics I have taken along the way.. Not as many as I had hoped for. I am dressed for the weather but still the cold air seeps in around the neck, gloves and anckles. I have kept a few pictures of the speedo and read out on miles per day average 400 to 500.
