• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Orange Screen Brake Failure Message

I was riding after dark on interstate at about 70 mph when a Brake Failure on orange screen came on. About 5 miles from home so i rode home and the screen changed again back to normal with a red light on dash that indicates parking brake on. Checked parking brake and it was not on. 2013 ST-S with about 1000 mi. Let sit for half hour and Brake Failure light came on again. Anything I can check for myself. Really don't want to have towed to dealer as they are not on my good list. Thanks

It's not a problem.It happened to me.Your brake fluid is low.The cap on mine was letting a minute amount of brake fluid leak.I topped it slightly and it eliminated the problem.It is very sensitive.My dealer has ordered me new caps.

Thanks already looked. Don't think it is low but will pick get some dot 4 tomorrow and try to add a drop or two. Would this also cause the red brake light to stay on in the lighted display
 
You should check to see if you have any active codes. Is the parking brake engaging and disengaging? Did you have the recall work done?
 
Just happened to me this month... I added a little break fluid and walla... gone... try that first...lol
 
If your fluid level is ok may want to take into dealer. On my 2013 ST Limited had brake light on plus VSS failure. Ended up being brake switches fried. May be different on yours but just an FYI.
 
my ST is in Limp Mode, VSS, ABS, transmission light, will not down shift...will not go over but 34 in 3rd gear....welcome to 2013 ST
