You've all probably seen this image. Stare at the dot in the center for 30+ seconds and then quickly look toward something white, like a wall. I had a similar experience this evening. I have the LED headlight bulbs from Xenon Depot. Coming home from a 3 day trip it was dusk and the light from the headlights was reflecting back very noticeably from roadside signs such as speed limit signs. After I got home I noticed that I was seeing a pink splotch in the same area as the signs were in my vision field. It was intense enough at first I saw it even when looking at a dark background. The after image, splotch, lasted only a few minutes before my retina and brain reset to normal sensitivity.
So if you ever see pink splotches in the air after riding in dusk or darkness and you have LED headlights, you're probably experiencing the after image affect. It's nothing to worry about! :clap:
