• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Opi's Roadhouse

Driving up to my new to me property in NW GA yesterday, I saw a place on the SE corner of GA140 & GA53 called 'Opi's Roadhouse'. It looks like they maybe cater to motorcyclist as that's all that was parked out front.
The place looked new. It's listed online as Rome, GA.

If I ever get down there you gona show me this place. You have to check it out for decent meal. Or is it a biker BAR?

The only reason I saw it was that I had to stop for the traffic light. I'll try to check it out.

I have to head down to Marietta to get a replacement tag for the Alumna trailer. Seems mine broke off somewhere between CO and GA?
Plus I have to get more stuff from the house and the rest of the chair parts from IKEA for my dining table.

New place

Yes, it was a Zaxby's and closed for a year or so. Saw it a couple weeks ago, but didn't stop. That part of N GA is super, good choice. I look fiorward to the Spyder gathering for your open house, catered by the new bike place!!
Congratulations.

It looks like the place is closed up? I have driven by there heading E&W on GA140 several times in the last month and there are no vechicles in the parking lot and no sight of activity.

Sadly Opie's is closed. It seems like the 1st of November was their last day. Was a nice little lunch destination.

That one came and went in a short time. :dontknow::dontknow: I am a fan of "road houses." You get a very interesting mixed bag whilst traveling the "nether" roads of Alaska. Never been burned--but one or two--I will avoid the next time around. :roflblack::roflblack: :yes:

The place after the Cajun place has also gone out of business. Guess that’s a bad location for eating places.:dontknow:
