• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oooopps, wrong house..

glad he protected himself

they were talking about only being able to hold 10 rounds in the gun, here in ny we are only able to carry 7 rounds in our guns. it used to be that civilians could carry 10 and police 15 rounds but that i got a letter from the NYPD telling me to remove 2 rounds from my clips until they make 7 round clips for the glocks so i said sure

Exterminators being exterminated. Now is that a play on words or what. My fence line is my house. will believe this until I die.

Hard to say..!!

I agree but would like to see home owners wanting to arm themselves do this only after a training course is completed. He was an ex-cop with all the knowledge and went after them. Great to see and know there are these cases but more should come to light to get the message across..

Does a concealed carry course count? How about military firearms training?

Firearms safety is should always a requirement. Need to be safe and know how to use a weapon before one starts using it. Same as a chainsaw it can get you or a good guy pretty quickly!!

John,
Some Judge just ruled that 7 round limitation out...
Ww're back to 10 rounds!
But a magazine limitation wouldn't have mattered in this case; he sent them running with "only" a .380 that might have held 7 rounds...
(He DID say that it was a PPK; not the /S model...)

You try to hurt me. I return your actions .
There are many cases like this, but the media does seem to say much about them. One local case was on on time and never heard again. Self defense, guy broke the door down.

I'd like to get Chris to come in here, and ask him about contracts,,,
Specificallyl the implied ones...
Could we make the case, that an implied contract exists among all Americans:
Obey the law, and folks around you will do the same,
Break the law, and all bets are off!

My hats off to him. I think it was a great video. To bad both of the perps weren't killed.

I do have a question, and don't all you gun owners get your hackles up. He shot over 10 times. The reenactment showed they (the perps) were right in front of him. I'm wondering how many were misses, of if they all hit their target. I'm hoping they all did hit the target; I'd hate to see ammo go to waste.

When I was with the SeaBees, I was told if we ever went anywhere where we'd be issued weapons, they'd make sure I got a shot gun with buck shot; I was such a bad shot.

I do hope he really doesn't walk with his shoe laces undone, especially down the stairs.

It's probably second nature to just keep shooting until the threat is down on the ground...
Shooting at a fleeing vehicle is generally a real bad idea...
Example: what if this was a family of thieves, with a baby in the rear seat? :yikes:
I would have thought that as a retired LEO; he could have used a bit better sense in that regard...
But otherwise; pure righteousness!

:lecturef_smilie: And don't understimate buckshot...
