• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One thing I DIDN'T learn here or at the dealer…..

….or by reading the manual, or at the demo day, or from watching the video or any reviews I read….

the number of questions you get while around a Spyder!

As yesterday was a crummy weather day, AND she hadn't gotten a rider helmet yet, TODAY was the inauguration day for the RT-S around town…First I took my 14-year-old daughter around….stopped at the bank, and had people ask us about it going in and going out….then at the gas station….then after a ride with my wife, we got caught again at a 7-11…and then there's the pointing & staring from umpteen other drivers & pedestrians! (and of course, the neighbors!):chat:

gonna hafta get used to that! Not quite used to all that attention!

They ask questions at the gas station, bank, grocery store, riding in traffic, etc. Then they start taking pictures of you and the bike while you are driving - both the passengers and the drivers!!!:yikes:

I'm always amazed how many times I'm asked, "how much does it cost!" Again today when I filled up at Sam's Club. That same attendant has asked me that question at least four times!

It's here somewhere..!!

has been mentioned here but then it's much more fun to live it..and it will continue so grin and bare it....:roflblack::roflblack:

Happens all the time. The only time I mind is when I am in a hurry to get somewhere. This has caused me to be late at times.
The two most ask questions I get are what kind of mileage does it get and how much does it cost.

The best one I ever got was......."hey buddy, you left your kickstand down". It was funny and original so when he asked me the questions, I was glad to answer them for him. Most people whom ask about the price are only doing so because they arre wondering if they could fit one into their budget. On days I don't feel like talking as much, I just ride the back roads. I have had a few nasty comments. At times like that it is best to remember that when you ryde you represent all of us ryders, so it s best to use your best sense of humor and ryde away. Enjoy the ryde, see you at Spyderquest in September.

Just sayin'............

While getting lunch up in Oneonta yesterday (Brooks' BBQ Pit... :2thumbs:), we had a couple of folks walk up to ours...
I could HEAR them thinking this!! :roflblack:
