• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Oklahoma Tornados

[h=5]Prayer Request:

The tornado that hit Shawnee, OK this evening destroyed the home of my sister Carla & Her husband Jim. They were laying on the floor of their bedroom when it hit and came away with no injuries. Their daughter, Leesa lives next door with her family & their home was also damaged. I've spoken with her and they are OK, but they do not know how heavily their home is damaged. We are grateful that our brother, Stephen, who lives in southwast Oklahoma City, was able to get to them and is bringing our sister & brother-in-law to his home. Leesa & her family are staying with friends.

We give thanks to God for His Mercies and Grace, for He saw fit to spare their lives.

While you're praying, lift up all those in the storm's track.

I'll send my prayers of thanks that they were spared, and my prayers that they can get their lives back in order soon.

Today's Moore, OK Tornado

My sister and brother-in-law, who lost their home yesterday, are now with my brother in southeast Oklahoma City. By the Grace of God, the tornado today lifted back into the sky only minutes before reaching their house. They had taken shelter in a newly built underground storm shelter my brother had installed a month or two ago. If the storm, which had already been on the ground some 40 minutes, had continue on the same path, their home could very well have been lost.

Thank you Father for Your immeasurable Mercies. :pray:

Thanks to each of you for your kind words and your prayers.

Continued prayers for your family and for those who have not been so fortunate. It looks like at least 51 have lost their lives. :pray:

My friend Bob's son and DIL (Steve & Yolanda) live in Moore, OK. Steve works at an AFB near there. Bob said Steve called him from the shelter on the base and that they have an above-ground shelter at their house where Yolanda was. I haven't heard yet of the condition of their house, yet. Please continue to pray for all the people there.

Glad they were fortunate to escape alive. It appears hundreds of others were not so fortunate.

Thoughts and prayers are nice, but if you really want to do something that will help....DONATE MONEY.

www.redcross.org
www.salvationarmyusa.org

Both have online donations set up and Red Cross even takes Paypal.

We can all do something. Skip going out to dinner or buying that next farkle...donate the money instead.
