• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had an enjoyable ride through the Catoctin Mountains on Saturday. Before going, I had gone to the trouble of looking up the coordinatese and loading all of the waypoints into my Magellan Roadmate 760. Would have been terrific had my GPS worked!!

Apparently, it didn't like the heat or the direct sunlight...kept locking up and made all of my preparations worthless.

So, today I ordered the Garmin Zumo 660. Hope that is more tolerable of conditions.

I used mine on a two week trip and thought it worked very well. I did not use any of the fancy features and it performed as expected.

I thought the lane assist was pretty cool.

Great choice...I have the 550. Go to poifactory.com and join...pay the 20.00 a year and get POIs for all the red light cameras and speed cameras anywhere you go...the garmin rocks and they have the best customer service, by far!

:congrats:

I have the Zumo 660 and it's great for trip planning and navigation. Haven't gotten a Scala bluetooth setup yet, but may this fall.
