• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No he does not, or it would be called 6th Gear and not Reverse. Yes, there are 6 total GEARS on the tranny but still does not have 6th forward GEAR. I suppose you can overwrite the R on the bar and make it a 6 or "Turbo Button" but it really is only speed brakes if attempted to use while in 5th..lol.
 
Am sitting in the dealer parking lot looking at a Seadoo 150 Speedster claiming a rotax turbo putting out 215 horses. I want that motor customized to fit my spyder. But, a 6th forward gear would be nice also to take advantage of the extra power.
 
After a 350 mile ride yesterday, I most certainly would NOT want a 6th gear. You'd have to cruise at about 90 or so to make use of it.

I find that the Rotax just doesn't like to cruise with the RPMS much lower than 5000 - so I don't touch 5th gear until 70 mph. Any sooner than that and the Rotax feels likes it's almost lugging.

Can just see it now 300cc turbo, and a set of aftermarket wings from Magic Man (with Led's, of course).:ohyea:

I hardly hit 5000 when cruising. Usually stay between 3-4K here.
