• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

the guys are installing the electric for the hot tub so i figured it would be a great day to install the muth mirrors on the bike. the job went easy and it is all done,BUT, i have one problem. they are flashing very fast, the emergency flasher works at a normal rate, but each mirror flashes at a very fast rate by each other. do you think i have the wrong polarity on each mirror. i set it up so i don't have to take the whole mirror apart but b4 i switch wires i figured i would ask, i called the company but no one is there to ask a question about it, seems they are out to lunch

CuzrJoe sent this to me a while back...

"My new 14 RTL had a problem where the right turn signal would flash normally for a couple of times and then rapidly several times (like when a bulb is out) then back to normal for a few times then repeated the rapid flashing. No lights were out. Left side was normal. I-90 Motorsports in Issaquah, WA got me in the shop right away. Trouble shot the electronics and wiring but could find no fault. Hooked up the left mirror/turn signal to the right side and it displayed the same rapid flashing. The right was normal when hooked up to the left. They opened a case with BRP on Saturday. Today I received an email from Tom Stever the service advisor on his first day back to work ( they are closed Sun/Mon). He did some studying up and came up with this,

"I came across a Technical Service article regarding your turn signal. In most cases, the problem can be cured by performing a cluster recalibration. You can bring the unit in any time and we’d be happy to do it or you can follow these simple steps:
1. Turn key on
2. Press and hold the hazard button for 30 seconds
3. The cluster lights will flash confirming the calibration has been successful."

ty bob it worked great and everything is back to normal, but remember normal for me is chaos for everyone else

When I saw this I ran into the garage to check if this will work on RT 2012 and unfortunately not, I wonder if I will update the software this can be fixed. My local dealer here in Sunnyvale CA will not do any work includes software update if I don't purchase from him any other services.

what i found was that when you hit the emergency flasher button and hold it for 30 seconds you need to be turning the emergency flashers off. so turn on the flashers, than turn the key on, than hit the button and hold for 30 seconds than release it and turn the bike off. that is how i got it to work

Cuznjohn, I tried the same way you mentioned, still didn't work on my 2012 RT , thanks for your help.
