• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2013 RTS, is there anywhere I can get a metal dip stick? The threads are getting jacked up on the plastic one. Thanks in advance

Had this happen once on my 12 RTS. Went to welding shop to see about making a metal one. The guy used a thread socket thingy & got threads fixed. He recommended back threading till the threads fell in place & said it would be a big problem if a metal one got cross threaded as that would require a new oil tank.

I always took the O-ring off to check the oil. It makes it much easier to screw in and out. Put the O-ring back on when you button it up.

I heard you can glue the O ring in place on cap:p....? :dontknow::dontknow: Not sure & have not tested myself, would be great if it would stay where it needs to be instead of in the way:lecturef_smilie: Anyone know the proper thread size just incase, replacement part numbers too?
THX
