• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oil drain plugs

I ordered mine on Ebay. Bought from Goldplug and they both came with crush washers. Total cost $35.00
Thats what was confusing. The pic shows it with a washer, but the description says it uses an extra washer and gives you the part number to order. I went ahead and ordered it. They give you a pack of 5 so Im thinking you may need to replace it with each change.
Another thing that was confusing was the shipping. I checked the free shipping option and it still charged me for the shipping.

FWIW, I purchased the Dimple brand magnetic drain plugs referenced in the first post. Very impressed. Work of art quality and high heat magnets that have impressive strength.

More expensive than others, but USA made by semi retired US citizens.

Even bought one for the Tacoma on it's next oil change.

Hope you got the right ones..2014's up are different than the 998 engines.
According to their site navigation menu, it is for the 998 engine although it did not have a tab for the ST LTD, I figured I had the same engine as an RS S 998.

The Gold plug has an option for a titanium plug which is more expensive but I chose the regular one which everyone here seems happy with.
