• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oil change

I ride the RSS 2011. I have been told it is a hard job to do the oil change on my spyder.I have always changed it on my previous bikes and know the basic of doing it. Is it that hard a job ?thanks.

Not hard at all. You need to remove some of the Tupperware. The piece under the engine is the hardest. I modified mine so I don't have to remove it again. It is only hard because you cannot see the push pins very well.
Two places to drain oil. Plus the filter. Changing the filter will make an oily mess. If you have the SE version, there are two filters to change.

Read your operator's guide, pages 88-90 for tupperware removal and 94-98 for oil and filter changes. Buy supplies from BajaRon.

Not a problem...

it is not a hard job. Take your time and after the first one it will be a snap. Owners manual shows how but you will see as you do it. As mentioned if you have the semi auto you will change two filters. They are different sizes and its best to change them one by one cause the cover screws are different and can get mixed up causing problems in reassembly...
