• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OIL CHANGE VIDEO??

Does anybody know or have a good video of how to change the oil on my 09 se5?
There is one on youtube but it shows only how to take the pannels off and check the oil:banghead:
I want to start doing my own oil changes but don't know where to start!

I just did our 2010 RT se5. The panels are the annoying part. The SE5 needs 2 filters, just over 4qts oil. I advise getting goldplugs to replace the stock.drain plugs.

Warm engine. The main filter needs to be manouvered into place around the shift linkage. It is not hard, just be sure the engine is not too hot when you do it.

The framework that supports the side panels needs to be moved a bit to get to the lower bolt in the cover for the transmission filter.

Just like anytime you deal with Allen bolts, be sure the wrench is dully seated and keep pressure on it.

It is pretty much a standard oil change otherwise. Same stuff applies like for a car or motorcycle regarding torque, washers, etc.
