There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Oil Change Kit for 1330

New member
I've not seen any mention of it here.
I just picked one up for the 600 mile change on my Spyder (SE6)
So here goes:

Like the other oil change kits from BRP, it contains everything you need:
7 quarts of genuine BRP semi-synthetic oil
Oil filter
2 metal washers
5 o-rings

All under one part number: 219800315 for the SE6
For the amazing price of $77 plus tax
Sounds like a deal to me!

Tell the dealer to read the manual.... also the kit you have has the same oil in it that your 1330 came with...

Well; you've already got... it can sit and get ready for the 3,000 mile change for you!
thanks for the part numbers! :firstplace:

Great news..!

first I've seen these kits available. The two crush washers I know and the filter but did not know you need 5 O-rings and 7qts of oil... :dontknow:

With the change in amount of oil to use, about 5 qts instead of 5 1/2, I wonder why they put 7 qts in the kit??? The upside is, next change you can buy 3 qts and have enough for another oil change. :D Reuse the existing O rings a time or two.

If you look at the kit it comes with one 4 qt container and two single qt containers. I think the OP thought that the large container is like what you buy at Walmart which are 5 qt containers.
so the kit comes with a total of six qts.

New Part Number

Does anyone have a valid part number for the SE6 oil change kit? 219800315 does not appear to be valid these days!

The original specs. for the 1330 were wrong. So BRP put out oil change kits with more oil than needed. I haven't checked for awhile. But originally the SM6 kit came with 6 quarts and the SE6 kit came with 7 quarts.

I'm assuming that BRP has corrected this as I don't see the 7 quart kit version for sale anymore.

You only need 5 quarts for either the SM6 or the SE6 unless you are changing the SE6 transmission filter. Which only adds 2 or 3 tenths of a quart to the oil volume needs.

The service interval on the SE6 transmission filter is 28k. So for most oil changes. The SM6 and SE6 are an identical process.
