• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OIL BURNING

I just had the oil changed on my 2016 res. I noticed a puddle in my garage and a strong oder of oil when I ride it. Sitting at an idle I can see oil burning off. The dealer said its oil caught at the bottom of the pan and it would go away. I have a few hundred miles on it but its still there. The oil seems to be filled. What do you think it is?

should be no puddles in the garage..Check your drain plugs that they are tight and not missing the washer too. I would take it back and have them check it since the oil was just changed.

Had similar issue

I ryde the F3...seems the washer for the filter kit is not designed to fit the Dimple plugs that I use. So my oil changing dude went to a crush washer. Problem solved...There should never ever be oil puddle or drip (in my case)...let us know what you find. Have a great weekend.

:agree: Check it over for leaks at the drain plug.
But if the dealership did a messy job of changing the oil: it might be worth insisting that they clean up the mess that they left in the pans. nojoke

All of the above

:agree: as well as if the dealer did the oil change it should never have left the shop with spill over in the lower pans/ panels. It should have all been cleaned up and saying that it will burn off, dry or evaporate :wrong:....
