• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oh My Aching Butt...

Someone mentioned that they thought the fit of the vinyl to padding on the passenger seat of the BRP comfort seat was not very good and that there would be wear problems.

Is the passenger portion of the BRP Comfort Seat just as good as the Driver portion?

I'm going to have to do something. 100 miles into a ryde on the stock seat and I'm in agony. I'm toughening up the more I ryde. But the stock seat feels like there is so much between my legs and I'm right on top of a squishy ball.

When I rode horses, I liked all my saddles to be very firm. Soft padding does not improve the ryde. I just want to get the change to something new right. A lot of money is involved not matter which way you go.

New BRP seat

I have the new seat and must say it is a big improvement over stock. I used the airhawk on the stock seat and use it as well with the new one. It gives extra padding and gives exta height so you do not feel you have so much between your legs. I have fracured T11 & T12 due to an auto accident so pressure on the tail bone is uncomfortable for me. There is a big difference in padding in the tail bone area between the stock seat and the comfort one.:2thumbs:
