Official Spyder Owners Group?

Is there an official Spyder Owners group? I have a good acronym for vegas owners (SOLVE: Spyder Owners of Las VEgas) but I'm hoping there is something already established. If not, how would one go about getting some sort of national club like that established?

The current answer would be a no if you do not count BRP registered owners. There are some state spyder owners clubs. Its easy to start your own group--but there are some legal implications, a lot of time invested for the founders of the clubs, and then as a club gets more organized, the fun and politics. Some operate very formally and others more loosely organized.

Search threads about owners clubs, and also look at upcoming events on SL. There are several groups listed currently.

I guess you could also look at SL site as the closest thing to a national owners group. That would be my vote.

:agree: You can go to Can Am's website and register, but benefits are a bit sketchy... They DO have a pretty cool map in there showing where all of the registered owners are... :thumbup:

Does anyone actually know anything about that organization? Considering maybe helping found a las Vegas chapter.

They are a riding group started by Ken Miller in San Diego. They are Facebook based and they do have requirements to start a group, one of them being you have to have 5 members to start with.

If you just want to start a riding group with or without political structure you can do so here. :doorag:

I'd like to take a minute and thank Lamont for this forum site. Spyder Lovers members have helped me with so many "little things" that otherwise I would have been lost.
I doubt my dealership would have or could have taken the time to help me resolve. I find myself checking in far more often that I care to admit.

I never saw that post nor was that information ever told to me. I never thought an exception would be made for us. In fact, not sure an exception was made. I guess what counts is, good things and new friends have been made because of it in a very short time and more rides are coming. Anyway look forward to seeing you at Spyderfest!
