i feel they could of done a better job at fixing the problem than just putting heat insulation on it. they could of changed it to metal with the tape over it. i figured it was plastic so you can see the level but now they are covering it so you can't see it so why not just replace it

:agree: Fluid levels are checked up under the seat; and in a good spot to drip the brake fluid down into the guts of the bike and onto the frame... :shocked: :gaah:

Post #3 has a link to several good photos of the fix. Don't know why plastic was used but I don't believe it was to visualize the fluid level. You would have to remove Tupperware on the right side to see it.
