• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all, I started another thread 'bike will not start' and got a lot of - your battery is bad, change your batter, etc. well you may have been correct. We went on a memorial ride yesterday. Left the house early stopped for gas and then arrived at the beginning of the ride. Hung out for about an hour and a half and then started the ride. We stopped at four places and then returned to the bar where we started. Stayed around for about an hour and then I went to get gas. Got back waited about 30 minutes and then went to start the bike...... Well all looked god as I turned the key, then pressed the start button. The engine jumped but then nothing. A second and third try still nothing. I got a jump and it started. We made it home with one gas stop. So Monday I will need to call the dealer. I want to get it checked out. You guys do know what you are talking about. Thanks for the help!!!!

Didn't read the original thread so this was probably already covered but you should check your battery terminal connections first. It would be a shame to go to all the trouble of a dealer visit only to find a few minutes and a wrench was all you needed.

Have to agree..!!

:agree: as well as ground connections. But if your going anyway have them check the battery it may still be time to change it...good luck..!!

battery connections

Yep, checked them the first time. Negative was tight, positive was a turn and a half loose. So could be a bad/dead battery. Overall though this is the first problem I have had. So no complaints. Thanks.
