• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Odd wear on drive belt

I had a new drive belt put on due to stone damage. As you can see in the picture the belt also has some odd wear on the inside of the teeth.

I didn't think much of it at the time, just thought it was from the stone, thinking it might have been lodged in the sprocket and caused the damage. Well now I see my new belt is showing this same wear pattern.

The tech that worked on the Spyder said the sprockets looked good when he replaced the belt. I told him to pay special attention to the sprockets because if there was any sign of a problem I wanted them replaced as I turned this in on a comp claim and it wouldn't have cost me any extra, no matter the cost.

What could be causing this?

I'd look real hard for a stone lodged in a sprocket tooth. From the looks of things, it could be pretty small, and easily missed. Run a screwdriver or some other hard object up each tooth, and feel for any rough spots. Could be just a slightly mangled sprocket tooth, too. I suspect your tech wasn't as careful as he could have been.
