I had a new drive belt put on due to stone damage. As you can see in the picture the belt also has some odd wear on the inside of the teeth.
I didn't think much of it at the time, just thought it was from the stone, thinking it might have been lodged in the sprocket and caused the damage. Well now I see my new belt is showing this same wear pattern.
The tech that worked on the Spyder said the sprockets looked good when he replaced the belt. I told him to pay special attention to the sprockets because if there was any sign of a problem I wanted them replaced as I turned this in on a comp claim and it wouldn't have cost me any extra, no matter the cost.
What could be causing this?
