There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Another beautiful day in Valley Springs. Day started with pea soup fog, then was mostly cloudy until 2:30 PM. We left for a 100 mile ride at about 3:00 PM. Eighties, blue skies, sunshine, and the leaves are now about 50% color. A beautiful ride for sure.

Also saw 10 assorted Spyders, and at least a hundred two wheelers. There was another rally in town (Riding the Ozarks), so that drew a bit of a crowd. We stayed away from the crowds.

Colors

:coffee: Good weekend rydes and enjoying all the beautiful colors of the season. Here in Indiana we are saying that peak season is starting. So go ahead and Ryde when you can.
Enjoy your day and stay safe.

Monday morning temperature 61°F . High 76°F low 39°F.
The say 29% chance of Rain. .......

70's most of the day today. A cold front to the west of us, so we had westerly winds at 35 mph or so. They had a bit of an edge to them, so the fall feel was on.

Mowed the lawn for what I hope is the last time this season. The winds blew off all the excess grass, so for now, it looks like a one acre golf course that has been freshly mowed.

Leaves

:coffee: Well, yesterday we received 3/10" of Rain. It was great and long overdue. So far October's rainfall has been just a 1/2". We still need some more of the rain. The wind and rain brought down a lot of Leaves and the yard is covered. This is our peak Leaf Week for 2020.

Today only 69°F and cloudy, low 40°F.

Stay Healthy. .......

Wednesday

:coffee: A chilly start for the morning, 45°F. The leaves are dropping and blowing the wrong way. More high winds are forecast for today.
Today's high will be 75°F with sunshine, low 54°F.

Smile and enjoy your day. ......

Yesterday we tied the all time record for number of days of 100+ degrees in a calendar year for Phoenix, AZ. In 1989 and again this year the record stands at 143 days. That record will likely be broken today. At 11 AM it is already 92...... Jim

Update; We officially exceeded 100 again today. Another record set in 2020. The weather lady on TV promises some cooling pretty soon. But high temperatures right at 100 through Saturday. Did a short ride yesterday but spending more time in the pool than on the bike.

Rainy Day

:coffee: The Weather People are saying all day rain. Maybe we will see about a quarter of an inch. So far October's rain amount has been .4".
Temperatures will be falling all day, 60°F now and down to 29°F to night.

Enjoy your Day and stay Warm. ......

Overcast and 60's so far today. Looks like rain.

My new 4 season textile jacket arrived yesterday...after 15 years I thought I should have a new one. May get a chance to try it out, less the liner later today.

Sure can't complain about the weather in southern WI for the first half of Oct. Expecting our first real freeze tonight, but still looking at highs in the upper 40's and low 50s. The fall color has been the best it's been in my memory. I'm guessing the frost and the winds will put an end to it....

Third Friday

:coffee: Good Morning and cold in Indiana. Morning temperature was 30°F. I had to scrape the truck windows before driving to the store.
Leaves are falling faster than I expected and are a lot more work. Still a pretty decent amount of color on the trees. Gotta love it.

Today only 56°F and sunny, low 34°F

Enjoy your Time. ......

Weekend Weather

:coffee:Peak Weekend is here and will be wonderful. Bags of leaves are already collected and more to come every day. This will be a banner of a mess to deal with moving forward. :gaah:

Oh yeah, the weather will be nice for playing in the leaves.

Today started at 34°F and goes back to 61°F and some sun. Lows are 42°F.
Sunday's high will be only 59°F and sunny, low of 40°F.

Enjoy your Day and Ryde Safe. ......

Monday

:coffee: Weather People are saying all day rain and maybe we will get a quarter inch of rain. Now 45°F with rain. It has been very windy and dry the last few days. We have a red fire warning for our area.

Today only 50°F with rain, low of 39°F.

Have a great day and Enjoy your Weather. ......

I was told it snowed in my old stomping grounds (Chugiak, Alaska) this weekend. Glad I have moved to the South.

So far, it's still mostly all green, 50 degrees this AM and raining off an on. Has been very dry, so the rain is welcomed. The winter grade jackets are out now and the chaps are ready when needed.

Last winter, we got dusted twice and it was gone in a couple hours. Rode on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years...just because I could. I was breaking in my new F3 (got it 12/16/19) last year and had 3,500 miles by late March.

I am feeling your pain and hoping that your lay up season will be short.

The heat is finally leaving us here in the desert. No more triple digit temperatures in the forecast. Today was supposed to have a high of 95 but it is now 98.....! Some years it seems like we need air conditioning one day and the furnace the next day. Some of my snow-bird riding buddies are getting back so time to get some serious riding in..... Jim

This past weekend was peak foliage here. Temps this morning were in the 40's, it is raining here now.

On Sat, Mount Mansfield, is near Stowe ,snow on the top of mount Mansfield.

I put my spyder up at the beginning of the month, I need to register the sled in Dec. I got my sled insurance renewal in the mail.

Tuesday

:coffee: Well, yesterday was a good rain day. We received about 1" of Rain on my local area. Good for the ground but maybe some of the Farmers were not ready. About 40 percent still have crops to harvest.

Lots of wet leaves are on the ground around the house. This will take some time to clean up.

43°F going to 58°F today with clouds.

Stay Healthy. .......

This morning there's a heavy fog. The yard has standing water and lots of leaves.

High today will be 77°F with sunshine, low 52°F.
Enjoy your day. ......
