Enjoy your New Month of OCTOBER.
Fall is in full swing here in Indiana. Weather is starting to get cooler and tree leaves are turning and some are falling. The wife has made the Pumpkins with Smiles and put them on the porch.

Today is going to be about 60°F with some sun. Low about 41°F . Hope you have a great day. .....:thumbup:

Weather here in Utah is getting very boring. Clear skies, warm temps, and DRY. Going to be that easy for these next 10 days so the weather people say. We need rain.

Woke up to high 50's, blue skies. Now up to 60's. Will get some ride time in today. Color is coming, but still mostly green.

It was mostly sunny today 70 will get down to 48 tonight maybe a shower, weekend is looking good mix sun and clouds mid 60s :yes: :riding:

A little chilly this morning 40°F. Going to a high of 59° F today. The wife is starting the Fall list.

Weekend Weather

Going to be a chilly weekend in Indiana. Maybe we will have our first frost. The gutters will need some help from the leaves that are falling. Well, thats why we call it Fall.

Today high of 58°F with sunshine, low 46°F.
Sunday's high 56°F and some sun, 36°F.

Today we got rain, it was in the 50's cloudy.

Next week they are forecasting 50's during the day,then in the higher elevations they are forecasting snow :gaah:

The fall foliage here is almost peak.

First Frost

Today my local area of Indiana received our first Frost. The temperature was 34°F and quite chilly. It was a beautiful early morning sight.
Yes, the weather people gave us a heads up on the evening news.

Monday's high about 63°F with sunshine, low 43°F.

44 degrees this AM. The first frost is coming. Turned on the heat for the first time this season. They are promising a temporary warm up this week, low to mid 80's. We will take it. :yes:

Decided to shift to the all textile jackets when we got home yesterday. We also ditched the fingerless gloves. It was a bit cool with the mesh jackets the last hour of the ride, and that was with long sleeves on.

Regardless of temps, I have the gear for the ride. Plans are to ride all through the year, like we did last year. Time will tell. :thumbup:

Tree Colors

Monday morning Frost was just the first. The trees are starting the beautiful early bright reds. We have been seeing yellows and browns for about three weeks.

Yesterday was a beautiful Ryde Time. Sunny and clear skies, temperature was 60°F.

Todays high will be only 73°F and sunny, low about 45°F.

We had sunny and warm day today.

As of tomorrow they are forecasting some rain, and windy weather. The storm is approaching from north central Canada. Rain showers on Wednesday night, and there might be some snow ( white gold, ) on the mountain tops on Thursday morning. Thursday night, clear and cold night. The weekend temps in the 60's and 70's.

The trees are still showing there color.

Morning temperature was 55°F. Going to be 80°F and sunny today. Low about 54°F.

Well into Spring here in Oz, so our weather should be fining up. hyea:

My daily rydes have certainly been doable lately, and generally without all the cold weather gear too; but often needing rain gear instead!! That's cos we've been getting the expected 'wet but warm/hot' Spring/Summer due to a building La Nina event; with 4 of the most reliable 8 ENSO models predicting a 'Strong Event' resulting in Significant Floods & Damaging Storms; while 3 of the remaining models predict only a 'Moderately Strong' event, so they reckon it'll just be lotsa Floods & Storms teamed with the usual mid/high 30's temps (°C).:shocked: Great for growing things maybe, and at least the rain should break the back of the widespread drought we've had here for the last few years

But since early last week I was looking forward to the warm & fine weather predicted for this coming weekend, planning on doing a long weekend/2000+ mile ryde with the Child Bride aboard & a few friends joining us on their Spyders.... only today the temps plummeted into single digits and the rain started pouring down, and it looks like it's settled in for the next 5-6 days!! :gaah: Oh well, our stand-by plans call for a bit less than half the ryde and a couple of nights 'glamping' amongst the best Wineries in the Country.... so I guess that'll just hafta do?! :sour:

75 degrees and overcast in NJ today. Took rt34 into Point pleasant and rode the coastline all the way home! 100miles=1000 smiles!
