Nylon Saddlebags

Does anyone have any experience with the following on the F3?

Trying to sort out what bags I want, but I need them only for certain trips so something like these are more cost effective for my needs.

Saw a 2010 RT the other day with cloth bags but neglected to look at how they mounted.
Not sure if the straps between the bags would provide the width needed to span the rear seat on a Spyder-it's wider than most two-wheelers.
Also need to do something to prevent the bottom of rhe bags from flopping.
It's all doable.
Your second mention looks to me to be the most useable. And Tourmaster makes good stuff.

We've had both Cortech and Tour Master bags over the years and both are quality products in our opinions. Of the two you've shown, I would opt for the Tour Master XL bags; they're well built, water resistant, and hold their shape very well when empty. Revzilla is also a good place to buy them. Shipping is very quick and customer service is first class, again in our opinion.

The first year with my F3-S, I used Aerostitch bags. I used them on my Harley before that. Very happy with them. With cloth bags you will need to add some support to keep them from contacting the rear wheel.

The extra support could be tricky. Any suggestions? I was looking at hard bags and ez-mount, but as with all things Spyder, so much money.

These Givi bags using EZ brackets have worked really well for me.

I use one similar to the first one you had a link to. It works ok but is far from perfect, but on a budget it gets the job done.

I mounted it under the seat and pinched under the Smooth Spyder Backrest mount to keep from sliding. Been on there for 5k and it has been solid so far with no flapping. It is on a 2014 ST-S

These Givi bags using EZ brackets have worked really well for me.

I like the way that looks. Doesn't look like the bike has odd growths on it. Might have to give that a go.
