• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi guys and gals. I just wanted to say hi and how much I love your spyders!! I have spent the last few weeks doing as much research on the can ams as possible. I would love to purchase one right now but it's not in the financial cards at the moment. I'm 31 and recently got married and made a few large purchases. I assume a new can am spyder rs s would probably be around $350 a month?? My dad has always had harleys and I have never cared for them. My brother has always had sports bikes and those also never gripped my attention. A forklift accident years ago has left me with a few ankle issues. That accident mixed with my feelings about the other bikes made me think I'd probably never get to join my dad on a ride. Now my love for the can am let's me look forward to many fun rides and times in the future!!

I plan to stick around and gather as much knowledge as possible from you guys. Hopefully within two years tops I should be able to officially join the club and purchase an RS S!! I have read the thread for new owners do's and dont's many times already. I'm very glad I found this site and thank you guys for all the info. Be safe and happy riding your awesome machines !!

Chris

You don't have to officially own a spyder to be a member here as far as I know. It is a place to gather lots of information and I can speak from experience that the folks that I have met here are great! One ride on a spyder and I'm sure you'll be hooked! I've had mine since the end of summer of 2008 and have enjoyed every mile I put on it since, which is now just over 50,000 miles, with very few issues. I still enjoy it as much as I did when I first made the purchase.
