There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Pictures from our tour!

First, let me say, when I first organized this event, I had no idea how it would turn out in the end and wasn't sure what to expect. With that said, everything went very well indeed! Thank you everyone for making this tour a success! It certainly was a fun weekend! A special thanks, goes to Chaz Rice who does the PR stuff for Canam at BRP. Chaz asked to join us for this tour and follow us along for the ride to the East Side Restaurant in Newport. It was great to have him along for the ride. Having the lunch tab picked up by himself and BRP certainly was a nice surprise! Thanks Chaz for doing that for us! I'm glad that you could join us!
What more can I add. The weather was great! The folks that joined us for this tour were a good bunch of people! Some of you I've met before and some of us met for the first time. I was glad that some of the local folks were able to join us as well. I'm sure new friendships were made! We had many laughs and good conversations among us. I hope that we will be able to meet again for future rides!
These are some pictures that I took from this weekend. Enjoy!

Roadkill, Qualitycap, Rnet, Shane, Roger and myself were the first to arrive. Roadkill stayed at Motel 6 next door. The rest of us were at the Quality Inn. The six of us went to the 99 Pub & Grill for diner Friday evening in Williston.

On Saturday we were ready for our tour to the North East Kingdom. Our first stop was at my dealer LandAir in Essex Jct Vermont. Here Chaz, Derik and Kathy joined our group for the ride. Chaz had a black RT, Derik was on his Harley and his wife Kathy had her blue RT. We visited at the dealership for a while and continued on our trip heading east on RT-15.

Our next stop was in Jeffersonville, where we took a short break and filled up with gas.

During our stop, Rnet was trying his best to see if he could get Chaz to leak out information about what the future developments would be for the Canam spyders! :roflblack:

+Great job organizing the ride, Adrian! It was nice to meet new and old friends, and Chaz was a bonus, though he seemed far more sedate than I was with a newborn at home. 8^D What a great group.

I got home around 8:30 this evening, after my side trip over to and up Mount Washington...

Since issues have been shoved at me on site, my pics will be posted on my website and referenced in the SpyderDigest, with links incorporated in the Scavenger Hunt thread.

All the best,

Ride on.

Heading east - More pictures

We continued from Jeffersonville and turned onto Rt-109 where I had planned a scenic ride going towards the towns or Waterville, Belvediere and Eden. We had to turn around though, because we were held up by a small town parade on this route. We continued north on Rt 100 and headed east on Rt 58 from Lowel. Off Rt 58 we stopped for a break at a scenic pull off next to the road. Looking west you see the Cold Hollow Mountain range to the left and the Jay Peak area on the right.

We then continued going east on Rt 58 and picked up Rt 5 South going to the town of Barton where we followed the shore of Crystal Lake. When we got to West Burke we took Rt 5A north to Westmore and stopped at a couple places along Lake Willoughby where we could take some pictures.

Roadkill was across the road to get a picture of the group standing along the waterfall.

Most of us were looking at the waterfall. Roadkill decided to go in it!:roflblack:

Then we stopped at the northshore beach parking lot to get a view of the lake from this end.

At The East Side Restaurant in Newport

When we left Lake Willoughby in Westmore we continued north on Rt 5A until we picked up Rt 105 and headed west where it would take us to Newport. We arrived at The Eastside Restaurant around 1:30pm for our afternoon lunch. My Daughter drove up with my son to meet me here for lunch. We were also joined by another spyderlover couple Pjp623 (Pat & Shirly). They live in the town of Montgomery which is not too far from Newport. I'm glad they could join us.

The staff at The Eastside Restaurant had a nice place set up for us on the terrace overlooking Lake Memphremagog. This was very relaxing!

When we finished lunch Chaz parted from the group and said his goodbye's to everyone. Pat and Shirly left as well. We continued on our trip to Rt 242 into the heart of Jay Peak. We stopped along the way to see the Arial Tram off into the distance.

My son and daughter, Megan & Connor were following us for the rest of the trip by car.

Time for Ice Cream! We stopped at the Pine Cone Snack Bar in Berkshire for some tastey ice cream treats!

From here we continued on Rt-105 west and headed all the way back to Colchester on RT-7 to finish our days tour, which was about 234 miles round trip. Now it's time to relax!

Sorry we missed it but I am glad you all had a great time! Adrien, we hope to be up that way at some point - maybe Labor Day weekend, who knows.

It was a fun weekend! I hope to be able to do this again next year. You can come up anytime though. Just let me know so that I can plan on it. There are others that had to cancel out as well, so you were not alone!

:2thumbs: Great pictures and write up!
Once again, thanks forall your hard work in putting things together.

Thanks! It was nice meeting you folks. I'm glad that you were able to join us. You live close enough to me, so lets get together again sometimes and take in some local riding together. There are other Vermonters that were there and some that were not able to make this trip. We should all gather for a fall foliage ride.
