There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thats cool! I will have to get a head count of who will be taking rooms at the Quality Inn. I'm sure they will contact me if rooms don't get booked. I know your booked Ron. I will get my room booked this week when I get my pay check. Anyone else booked yet? Just curious!

I know it's early, but I plan on going up on friday morning and doing a scenic route through vermont. Do you have any plans yet.

I've been off this board for the last couple days and thought I'd check in. The weather has been too nice to be inside. Anyhow, let me know what you guys decide. When you get up here I'll be sure to meet up with you on Friday.
I was at my dealer the other day and they sold a couple spyders to this couple that may be interested in this gathering. So, far not too many Vermonters on board! I will need to get a head count at some point so that I can make reservations at the East Side Restaurant in Newport. They told me to make it at least two weeks prior to our arrival.

How many riders so far?
Well, It's getting close to mid July, and the LRT ride is just over a month away. I'm just curious as to how many of us will be on this ride? So far myslelf and I know Rnet and a friend of his will be going, Smylinacha and HDX, Monique from Canada. I know there are others, but I'm just not sure if everyone is commited at this time. There is this couple in my area that just bought a new RT and RS that will also join in on this ride and they have friends that have a spyder and a bike as well that may take the tour with us too. So we have several riders! I will need to get a count before the end of the month in order to make a reservation for us at the East Side Restaurant in Newport. Also, remember we have until the end of the month to hold our group rate at the Quality Inn in Colchester VT. At this time I'm not certain that we will need all the rooms that I blocked for us. I have 12 rooms held. So, if your still interested in this ride and haven't posted it here, please do post it on this message board so that I can get a count of who will be going. I will give more updates as we get closer to our ride.

I'm glad that you could come! I will be staying at the Quality Inn on Friday and Saturday night. A Friday ride sounds good! If others come up early they may want to join in as well! :thumbup:

That would be great Ron! There are a two couples that will join us for this tour that are from my local area. I was also just informed from Monique in Quebec, that another spyderlover couple from up there may be joining us as well. I can't wait to meet everyone for this gathering! I think it will be a blast for sure! I will need to get a list together so that I don't loose track of who is coming!

Kim it would be better to book now and lock in for the group rate and then if you can't make it, cancel. I think it's only 24 hour notice before your stay to cancel. +I'm going to try and adjust my time off requests (from prior weekend and following weekend) to allow me to join you.
Since this is so close to Canada, I should be able to catch an image of an international border for the Scavenger Hunt, and even a Lake Champlain ferry ride.

Hay neighbor, we haven't met yet. perhaps now's the time. Your only about 25 miles away. We could put quite a spyder ride together just getting to Vermont if our timing is right.
