• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"normal operating temperature"

Once again, I am the newbie, but....

When checking the oil level, instructions state that the engine must be at "normal operating temperature" before you start the engine, wait for 30 seconds, then check the oil level.

What does this mean? The engine is 3 or 4 bars from running, or cold?

Thanks!:joke:

2 bars or more is 'normal'.....

OIL CHECKING

The best/most convenient time to check is right after your ride.....no time wasted, it's at operating temp etc. Mike...

It is more than the water temperature gauge indication. It means that the metal of the engine, and the oil temperature, are within their "normal" range. As was said, the easiest way to achieve this is to ride for 5-15 minutes or more.
