• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

1330cc Noisy 1330 RT

Maybe it's just me, but it seems to me that my 1330 RT has a lot of engine noise when idling. 2019 RT SE6 with less than 20,000 miles. Just sitting in neutral at idle and parked not moving but with the engine running the engine noise is noticeable. The noise dissipates when the rpm is picked up by 200 to 300 rpm over set idle. I am coming off of a Kawasaki Councours 1400 so maybe I'm just not used to the ordinary sound of the Spyder. The other thing I have noticed that going down the road at highway speeds there is enough wind noise that I have to have the volume on the radio turned to the max to even hear the radio. On the Kawasaki I had headsets in the helmet and no external speakers so maybe this is normal also. Just asking. What say you.

Yup, them spydeys, are loud idling, has to do with the clutch/ gearbox, Speakers I cannot compare, my Spyder F3s, has the best soundsystem there is, an acropovic symphony, and NOOOOOO speakers

Compared to my GL1800 Gold Wing trike I find the idling noise of my 2021 RTL to be pretty noisy.

After reading this yesterday, I would say that the 1330's are a bit louder than some of the other motorcycles. The shifting is also "clunky" if you are not shifting in the "sweet" spot. Mine likes 3300 - 3500 rpms. Then smoother or quieter.
