• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Noise from front end

I have a 2013 ST-SE5 and have put a little over 2000 miles on it. There is a noise coming from the front, sounds like the left front wheel area. At first I thought it was just something wearing in and seating, maybe like brake pads or something. But after this amount of time I am beginning to worry. It sounds like an intermittent though constant squeaking or chirping. I am now thinking bearings, front sprocket, loose belt, something rubbing, what? I hate to take it back this early to the dealer since I live a considerable distance from them or any other Can Am dealer. But, I don't want to tear something up that will take weeks to fix. Any help? Anything I could check at home and maybe tighten up or something? :banghead:

That is the new brakes, they will talk to for a log time and rears are the same. Mine still talks a lot, dealer ?? Well they do not know why and brp same. Keep good look out at pads ok .. Good luck like me...

Confused..!!

if you get to the sprocket or belt the sounds would be middle under you. Not familiar with the brembo brakes or the materials they are using. If you can lift the front end so as to spin the wheels you may find the source of this sound. Check the disks for heat marks or scratching on the surface. If it is a rolling only sound thats a good place to start...:dontknow:

The rotors are cross-drilled...
(It's got HOLES in it)
That's the sound of the pads passing over those holes at speed...
