• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No trailer lights

We were on vacation and lost the lights on the trailer, all the lights on the Spyder still worked, and
checked all the fuses and connections and they were fine. I have the BRP factory hitch and wiring
harness and all LED lights on my trailer.( No power to the pig tail.) We will take it to the dealer Wed. to have it checked out
but wanted to get some ideas from the people on here. Thanks in advance for any info.

Still sounds like a fuse or relay. Change the fuse even if the old one looks good. A good place to start. Check the connection at the trailer end of the hitch tongue which is 18-24" from the front of the trailer underneath. Check BRP trailer parts fiche. This could be loose.

I thought I read about people blowing the trailer module out somehow. I think the guess was that the module did not have adequate ground but never hear if that was the actual cause or not.

Most likely the BRP module. I finally installed a norm $73 , after replacing 3 of them. Got it from big bikes (I think) plug and play. It is a 5wire flat head hook up.

That's what I think it is after checking and (replacing the fuse) and all connections.
I will let the dealer check it and replace it. But as back up do you have a part #?
Thanks,
Toby

SAME PROBLEM - I am waiting for my third trailer light module from BRP. I think it might be the heat from under the seat frying them.

They have had problems with the harness for the 2014 you need to get the grounding harness for the trailer or you will keep blowing harnesses.
