• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No reverse on 2010 RT

Well, as luck would have it, my warrenty expired a month ago, and today I could not get into reverse. It happened once before about 2 yrs ago, but, only about twice and since then good to go.How do you think this bike knew the warrenty was up?????:(

I had my Throttle Position sensor die one Month to the day after the warranty went "Toes-Up"...
So which transmission do you have, and what is the bike doing? Do you have all of the forward gears still working?

Do you have a trailer hitch? If you do, check fuse F7, it might be blown. Disconnecting or replacing the trailer module will be necessary. If that isn't it, check the shift linkage underneath the left side. The sector lever on the shift shaft might have come loose. Third possibility is a failed multi-function module switch or connection. Pressure washing is sometimes a cause of these control failures.

I have standard trans, it will go forward with all speed!!! Otherwise it will not go into reverse

If you've got all five forward gears; maybe the "reverse" button parts have become discombobulated...
That has got to be some sort of lockout disconnector; allowing you to shift down into reverse... I'd have the dealer take a look at it...
Let us know what is found; Good Luck!

Yep, have a trailer hitch, and have not pressure washed, but, coming back from Gatlingburg TN a few weeks ago, we hit the rain from hell. Water coming off the mountains, made big washes in the road, and when cars came by it was like a wave in the ocean ran over you. The big washes I had to just creep through, but some of the others you could not see until you were in them, and so I just held on. I guess you could say that was equal to pressure washing. Once I got to the garage that was were the bike stayed until yesterday, when I wanted to go out on some errands. I rolled it back until it would drift down the drive way, and when I was out I made sure I did not have to reverse anywhere, now there is a battery light coming on and off at times. Don't know what started that. I think you for your advice and as soon as my boyfriend gets home from a ride he is on in upper Michigan, we will try your suggestions, and I will let you know what happens. Thanks so much.;)
